Session 6/Week 1

We began the week with a new coin game to encourage focused work and to reward the Heroes for appropriate noise levels and behaviors that vary, depending on what ison the schedule – from still and quiet for focused work to big movements and collaboration with fellow Heroes. Freedom within guardrails resulted in a productive week!

This week also began our new session studying the laws of physics through toy building! The Heroes learned about Newton’s laws through the creation of their own unique race cars. They tested them on distance, speed, and how well they could hit a target on three separate racetracks in the studio. They put much thought into what design would produce speed and created some interesting cars! They also learned what did not work and started again when their design failed. Their diligence and perseverance paid off and demonstrated that failure is not the end of the story!
