We are always seeking Guides for our heroes.
What a Guide does:
Facilitates Socratic discussions
Designs the environment for hands-on challenges and quests that will provide opportunities for our heroes to develop interests and skills
Respects the responsibility and the power of the learner to be self-directed
What a Guide doesn’t do:
Answer learner questions. Ever.
Acton Academies have found that those with a professional education background may have a hard time adapting to our learner-driven model.
