Acton Academy Johnson City

Acton Academy Johnson City is a K-12 school located in Johnson City, TN in the downtown area.  We currently serve learners ages 4 to 13 (Launchpad for ages 14-18 coming in 2027), offering a learner-driven education that connects academic growth with real-world experiences and a deep appreciation for the arts.

At Acton, we place curiosity and independence at the heart of everything we do. Our learners embark on their own Hero’s Journey, discovering their unique gifts and building the confidence and skills they need to thrive. Our program includes Socratic discussions, hands-on Quests, and enrichment opportunities like gardening, art, entrepreneurship, and science projects.

With a blend of the arts and innovative learning, Acton Academy Johnson City is a place where young people learn to think critically, solve real-world problems, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
